Summer School?

Is there a limit on how many classes or hours a student can take in a single summer session? I might have to cut short/cancel a trip to Taiwan in order to keep my scholarships if there is...

And if you take 7 hours, you will be in class from like 8am-8pm monday-saturday or some crazy shit. Summer school blows in more ways than one.

I thought there was like a 12 hour limit you could take total all summer. Last year I took 9hours (3 classes) in the first summer session. I love summer school 1000 times better than the regular semesters.

I'm taking a maymester class this year and an internship which will go the span of the summer for a class.

Well, my parents are giving me all of next year to get my schoarships back (thank god for cumulative GPA scholarships), so I should be good without summerschool. Thanks for the info though.

ya well a new state law that was jsut passed says that colleges have to keep 2 GPA's. One for that school and one for every school have have gotten credits for, this on is for keeping scholarships. This way peeps can take classes at tech schools over the summer and it counts towards GPA for their scholarships. I think they are counting the credits for all the classes that you took that you still have credit from as of now, i.e if you took dual credit in highschool those grades will effect your scholarship GPA even though the bill was recently passed. I'm thinking those extra 28 hours of A's are going to look real good...

Did Tech even record our grades? I thought the only record they kept was the credits we earned (at least that's what Ms Dula told me, but we know how reliable her info can be...).

ya they kept a record....i checked....and clemson has them. so they are going to check them and calculate our new GPR's. where did you find a compy to log onto over there BTW?

Pretty much all my relatives have hookups. Only my grandparents house wasn't wired.
