ECE 427 or 440? - ClemsonTALK

I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the CpE tunnel. All I have to take next semester is 455, 453, and either 427 or 440. Which will give me the least amount of trouble? I can't stand 330, and I only passed 317 by the grace of God, so I'm leaning toward 440. Is this a bad idea?

440 was absoutely horrible.

Dr. Wang wasn't particularly good at teaching it, and the class was super boring. (In spite of me being interested in the subject, its just abstract math)

I stopped going after a while and just learned the stuff on my own the night before exams. I had a D average which was curved up to a B given how poorly the entire class did on everything.

I would not go with 440.

317 is random signal analysis right? 440 is just that, except twice as hard. 427.

What about 440 or 449?

I have to take one of them and was leaning towards 440 till this thread; only because I heard 449 was extremely hard as well...

I have Wang now for 438 and am extremely bored during his class, but its easy enough; was kinda hoping the same thing for 440 but guess not?

449 isn't that bad if you have an interest for the subject matter. I heard Brooks was very forgiving grade wise.

i thoroughly enjoyed 449 (especially the final project), and it wasn't *that* hard. there were some kinda difficult areas, but if you show you're putting effort into it, you'll be fine.

449 is an order of magnitude more interesting (and easier) than 440. Never took 427 though.

Yeah, I figured that out today. I decided on ECE 427, 453, and 449, so my depths are in Architecture and Software.

I'm also registered for Riflery, Racquetball, First Aid, and Intermediate Golf and on the request log for History of Rock and Roll. I just need to figure out which of those I actually want and which to drop. I'm thinking that Riflery and First Aid will complement each other well.

They are trying to make me take 440/640 in grad school

I really don't want to take it, I have seen the HW and it is absolute hell. I am taking 638 instead
